Innovation specialists in custom hardware manufacturing since establishment
CiiLOCK Engineering is an innovation specialist manufacturer based in Hinckley, Leicestershire. We design, develop and produce custom engineered components and hardware solutions for clients across the building, transport and furniture industries. What started as a focused operation serving local manufacturers has grown into a business that supplies precision hardware to companies throughout the United Kingdom and beyond.
The company was founded on a straightforward principle: that better-engineered hardware leads to better-built products. Too many manufacturers were settling for off-the-shelf components that didn't quite fit their applications, making compromises that affected the end product. We saw an opportunity to change that by offering genuinely bespoke solutions, designed from the ground up for each client's specific requirements.
Our engineering team operates from purpose-built facilities at Marina Court in Hinckley, where we handle everything from initial concept design through to finished production. This in-house capability means we maintain full control over quality at every stage, and it allows us to work closely with clients during development rather than simply manufacturing to a fixed specification.
Over the years, we have built a reputation for products that outperform their conventional alternatives. Our sliding door hardware, sashless window systems and truck curtain components have each set new benchmarks in their respective markets. We are particularly known for "The Mother of All Rollers" -- a heavy sliding door roller that represented the biggest breakthrough in that sector in decades.
From first sketch to volume production, CiiLOCK handles every stage of the hardware development process under one roof.
Our in-house design team -- known as The Design Hut -- works directly with clients to develop hardware that meets exact functional and aesthetic requirements. We use CAD modelling and rapid prototyping to refine designs before committing to tooling.
CNC machining, die casting and injection moulding capabilities allow us to produce components to tight tolerances. Every part is manufactured to specification, whether it is a one-off prototype or a production run of thousands.
Rigorous testing and inspection at each production stage ensures consistent quality. Our hardware is subjected to load testing, cycle testing and environmental testing appropriate to its intended application.
We design and manufacture our own tooling, giving us full control over component production and the ability to make modifications quickly when designs evolve during development.
Complete assembly services including surface finishing, plating and powder coating. Products leave our facility ready to install, reducing handling and quality risk for our clients.
Ongoing engineering support after delivery. We work with installation teams and end users to ensure our hardware performs as intended in real-world conditions and adapt designs when needed.
